Here is the other bag I made for my friend's princess. Again, the theme is pink. However, my friend's second daughter also adores yellow. So I added some yellow to this bag too. I hope the two little girls will love the bags. 

One more day to Chinese New Year, I'm glad that I managed to finish the project in time before heading back to my home town :) [but there are still lots of chores to do at home!] By the way, I had also finished a sling bag for my girl for Chinese New Year. Will share the photo in my next post. That will be after I'm back from my home town next week :p

Sweet as A Candy 甜甜小公主

My friend has two sweet little princesses. I was asked to sew bags for her princesses. A bag for their art lesson.

Though the girls are still little, but the length of the bag must be long enough to fit an art block. So these bags are made longer than the others that I have sewn. My friend told me that her girls adore pink and princesses. To find a nice pink fabric is not that difficult, but to get a nice princesses prints fabric may not be so easy. I have came across a few, but sad to say that the prints are either not so attractive or the colours are not appealing.  So I decided to make an applique doll myself.

Pink for Sweet Ballerina 粉色~芭蕾舞女孩的最爱

最近，我对制作包包有点儿上了瘾。满脑子都在不停的想着布料的配搭。我有太多想要拿来车缝的布料花色，每一块布都是我用心挑选的。太多心头爱了，有时还真的难以决定要拿那一块来车缝下一个作品。

每一次看着心爱的布在我的努力下变身， 一个包包，一个杯垫，一幅窗帘，一个笔袋，都会让我很有满足感。毕竟是用心的成果。

这一个包包是以芭蕾舞图案的布料制作。粉红及咖啡色为主色。相信喜欢芭蕾舞的人都会喜欢上这一款布料制作的包包或其他作品。希望它也会在女儿的芭蕾舞学院内，受到学生们的青睐。

2014 年的第二项作品是芭蕾舞包包。手上的这一款芭蕾舞女孩布料已经买了好一阵子，但总是没有灵感要怎么搭配它才漂亮。所以就把它搁在一边。

灵感的到来, 就在我完成给朋友的小朋友制作包包的那一刻。我赶紧把它在笔记本里画了下来，等有空档的时候就可以开工。

我总算在2014年的第二个星期把这个芭蕾舞女孩布料制作成包包了。颜色搭配还可以吧。

Colour of Springtime 春天的颜色

First project of year 2014, a green tote bag for an old friend. We have known each other since primary school, about a quarter century long!! But I've just learned that her favourite colour is green. :) 

Green is the colour of springtime. Though technically it's not springtime yet, but one can always have the springtime feeling if you are able to appreciate the little things in life. What gives you the springtime feeling? Mine is creating, crafting, read a good book, a home cook meal, and the list goes on..

Happy New Year and hope that it's always a little springtime in your heart!
